South Normanton Parish Council Donates Life-Saving iPad SP1 Defibrillator to South Normanton Allotments

We are proud to announce that South Normanton Parish Council presented an iPad SP1 Defibrillator to Allison Wright of the South Normanton Allotments. The primary purpose of this crucial life-saving equipment is to be used during emergencies, benefitting both the allotment users and the visitors of the allotment site.

The official handover took place on Saturday, September 23rd, and was attended by members of our Parish Council team, including Councillor Emma Stevenson, Councillor Julian Siddle, and Councillor Sharon Coleman. Their presence and support underscore our commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents.

This defibrillator, generously donated by South Normanton Parish Council, represents a significant addition to the safety measures in place at the South Normanton Allotments. It ensures that during critical moments, quick and efficient measures can be implemented to safeguard people’s lives.

Coinciding with the handover ceremony was the annual ‘Macmillan Coffee Morning’ hosted by the South Normanton Allotments. The event was met with an overwhelming response from our community, with residents turning out to show their support. Through their generosity, the event managed to raise over £1000 for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. A testament to the caring and compassionate nature of our local community.
