- Verbal or physical abuse
- People causing a nuisance or being rowdy in a public place
- Street drinking, underage drinking and being drunk in public
- Nuisance motorbikes
- Harassment including incidents involving race, sexual orientation, gender, religion, disability or game.
Derbyshire Fire & Rescue
Emergency - Call Derbyshire Fire on 999 for
- Fire or rescue emergency you should always call 999 immediately.
Reporting Garden Fire / Controlled Burns
If you are having a garden fire, please ring Fire Control on 01332 861800 to inform them of the fire.
They will:
- Record the location the fire is taking place.
- Offer fire safety advice.
- Ask you to contact them when the fire is out.
Reporting a smoke nuisance
If you are suffering from a smoke nuisance, we would encourage you to speak to the person or business creating the problem.
If this is unsuccessful, Bolsover District Council may be able to help.
If you think there is a real risk to people or property then you should call the emergency services on 999

Emergency - Call 999 for
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Loss of consciousness
- An acute confused state
- Fits that are not stopping
- Chest pain
- Breathing difficulties
- Severe bleeding that cannot be stopped
- Severe allergic reactions
- Severe burns or scalds
Also call 999 if you think someone has had a major trauma, such as after a serious road traffic accident, a stabbing, a shooting, a fall from height, or a serious head injury.
Non Emergency - Call 111 for
When you need medical advice or treatment but it is not an emergency. NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do.
