Local man benefits from Council Grant

A resident has benefited from several adaptations to his home, enabling him to live more comfortably.

The man, who is registered blind, had been living with his family and with the assistance of a guide dog, but found his home was becoming more difficult to navigate and manage as his sight failed further.

Bolsover District Council’s joint Environmental Health Service carried out several adaptations to the man’s home following a successful application for a Disabled Facilities Grant.
