Junction 28 Tai Chi for Health

What is Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art that today is predominantly used for its health benefits and much less for self-defence. Training can be considered as moving meditation.

Tai chi for Health is a gentle exercise programme developed by a team of medical and tai chi experts to be safe and manageable for all ages and abilities, and it is great for people with long-term health conditions. Our style of tai chi can be carried out both seated and standing, so it is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Our class times and venues are shown below, people do not need to pre- book, the classes are pay as you go, £5 per class, and no experience is required. Our classes are open to everyone over 18.

No specialist equipment is required, just come along in comfortable clothes, flat shoes (trainers or similar) and bring a drink.
