Freddies’s ‘Bake Off’ Competition 2021

South Normanton Parish Council were invited along to Frederick Gent School on Friday 5th November to present prizes to the winners of the ever popular ‘Freddie’s Bake Off 2021″ annual baking competition.

Councillors Graham Parkin and Philip Upton attended the event accompanied by Assistant Parish Clerk Peter Hallam.This year’s the competition proved to be very strong and the creativity and baking talent on show was exceptionally high from all entrants.

Our Parish Councillors commended all the pupils and staff for their amazing entries and noted that picking the winners must have been very hard indeed.

Councillor Graham Parkin presented the prize of a gift voucher to this year’s 1st place winner May Bridges.

Prizes were also presented to 2nd place winners Sophia Hill and Ruby Walker and 3rd place winners Phoebe Stone and Tommy Griffiths.

The staff winners were Andrea Bateman and Victoria Ellis-Blower.

The winning cakes will be raffled off at The Post Mill Centre and all funds are to be donated Royal British Legion’s 2021 Poppy Appeal.
