National Tree Week at Shuttlewood Community Park
This week Bolsover District Council joined volunteers at Shuttlewood Community Park to plant new trees and celebrate National Tree Week, the UK’s biggest annual tree celebration!
Late November is the perfect time to plant trees, as the cooler weather and damp soil help young saplings establish strong roots before spring arrives. Every tree planted today will grow to provide cleaner air, shade and habitats for wildlife.
