COVID-19 Test Kits Donation by Rotary Club of West Ashfield

A fantastic donation of ‘COVID-19 Test Kits’ hand-delivered to the South Normanton Community Group to help our local community by the Rotary Club of West Ashfield.

Chris and Linda Elkin representing the Rotary Club of West Ashfield met with committee members of the South Normanton Community Group at the Post Mill Centre to hand over a box of COVID-19 lateral flow test kits which had been kindly donated by the Rotary Club.

This all came about after the Rotary Club of West Ashfield had collected funds to help the local community and to form closer working ties with other like-minded voluntary and charitable organisations in the area.

Chris and Linda have a long-standing relationship with the Post Mill Centre through their connection with the Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs. They reached out to our centre management to enquire if they knew of any local organisations that would benefit from the donation of the COVID-19 test kits?

The introduction and connection was made with local charity the South Normanton Community Group.

The COVID-19 test kits will be distributed by the South Normanton Community Group team to vulnerable residents and carers of the vulnerable who live and work locally.

Chris and Linda would also like to thank the team at Lloyds Pharmacy Alfreton who not only supplied the COVID-19 tests but also honoured their original price as the cost of the kits had increased during the procurement process.
