We clear pothole backlog
We’re on track to clear the pothole backlog by mid-October, following significant investment in our highways service.
Back in April, more than 16,000 potholes were waiting to be fixed. That number’s now expected to drop below 3,000 by mid-October – bringing the service back to typical levels.
Since April, more than 26,000 potholes have been repaired. Additional improvements have included surface dressing, resurfacing, and large patch repairs on affected roads.
