More roads to be resurfaced
More roads in Derbyshire will be resurfaced after local councillors put forward those residential roads most needing repair in their areas. In total, 19 roads will be resurfaced at a cost of £3 million.
We’re able to fund these road schemes by making our highways service more efficient and reinvesting the savings directly into residential areas.
They’re in addition to previously announced roadworks included in our £70m capital programme.
