Gate Keeper Wanted
South Normanton Parish Council: Vacancy for a Gate Keeper
Applications are invited for the post of Gate Keeper.
South Normanton is an expanding village near Alfreton, just off junction 28 of the M1.
The Gate Keeper duties will include but not be limited to: –
• Opening up and closing of the Town Park gates at the Post Mill Centre.
The successful applicant will have:
• Ability to work alone and be self-motivated.
• Ability to adapt to council requirements.
The Gate Keeper will be required to close and lock daily all access gates to Town Park and Town Park playing field. Times will vary dependant on the time of year (approximately 5pm in Winter, 7pm in Summer)
They will be required to open the gates at 10am Saturday and Sunday and close them again in the evening. Closing times will vary dependant on the time of year (approximately 4pm in Winter, 7pm in Summer).
The wage will be paid at the national minimum wage.
