South Normanton In Summer Full Bloom

Today we’d like to turn the spotlight on our Parish Council Grounds Maintenance Team.
This year’s long and very hot summer is drawing to a close but have you taken notice of the fantastic and beautiful flower baskets and flower beds dotted around our village?

Throughout the spring and summer, the team planted, nurtured and continued to water each and every plant to ensure they look their very best and keep blooming as we move into the next season.

With over 200 individual flower baskets, 2 memorial benches, 4 road roundabout displays, verge displays on the slip rounds on both the M1 and A38. Not to mention the fabulous gardens and flower beds and displays in the Town Park, all requiring continuous work and attention by our grounds team.

SNPC would like to say a very big thank you to Mark, Zac, Paul and Leighton for all their hard work and dedication in helping to keep South Normanton in full Summer bloom and looking great throughout the year.
