Lighthouse Charity Shop Opening
Monday 26th June saw the grand opening of the brand new Lighthouse Charity Shop in South Normanton!
It was a great and well attended event with guests, including South Normanton Parish Councillors, The ValleyCids Team, and representatives from the local South Normanton Churches Together group.
A special highlight was the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Alison Spencer, the Head Teacher of Brigg Infant School, accompanied by four of the school’s children. Their enthusiasm added an extra touch of joy to this fabulous occasion.
The shop management team said “We’re grateful for the overwhelming support we’ve received from the South Normanton community, and we’re thrilled to open our doors to you all. Our Lighthouse Charity Shop is brimming with wonderful treasures and bargains, just waiting to be discovered!”.
“By shopping at our store, you’re not only treating yourself to fantastic finds, but you’re also making a positive impact on our community. All proceeds from the shop go directly towards supporting important local causes and initiatives”.
You can find the new ‘Lighthouse Charity Shop’ on Market Street South Normanton, and it’s open Monday to Saturday.
