Due to the arson attack yesterday evening on the new outdoor canopy at the Market Street Recreation Ground. The Town Park and Recreation Ground will be closed until further notice for safety reasons.
Unfortunately, the fire completely destroyed the new canopy which had only been open for a few weeks. An investigation into the incident is now underway.
