SNPC Grounds Team Winter Works Continue

Today we’d like to once more turn the spotlight on our South Normanton Parish Council Grounds & Maintenance Team.

This year’s long and incredibly hot summer kept our grounds team very busy, but there are still a lot of jobs to do throughout the parish now that we’ve moved into winter.

The team have planted new tree saplings down on the South Street Recreation Ground opposite ‘The Brigg Infant School’. They’ve also been busy at The Town Park with the installation of new bird boxes in various places around the park and the pruning and cutting back some of the existing trees.

We’ll keep updating you with other projects scheduled throughout the parish in the winter and into spring next year.
